Elder Tree Befriending Service

We are a preventative service that has a physical presence across every neighbourhood in Plymouth. We support over 1200 people over the age of 50 and champion their continued independent living in their own home but we are not a provider of domiciliary or enabling support.

We deliver over 70 innovative health and social engagement activities and provide volunteers to support our more vulnerable, frail and socially isolated beneficiaries in their homes. We also support over 130 people who have MCI or dementia related illness.

Sleep Hygiene

If you’re having trouble sleeping please view the attached sleep guide which has been developed by two of Livewell’s Psychology Assistants.

The guide has been revised from the original professionals guide and is now suitable to share with anyone experiencing poor sleep. This is an excellent resource containing self-help strategies and practical information to make positive changes which are aimed at improving sleep hygiene.
